A place where historical character and modern city meet

The Kliversala Quarter is set to evolve into the heart of urban life, offering a cozy and inviting ambiance. It combines historical charm with contemporary architecture, creating a thoughtfully designed, people-oriented living space that feels harmonious and welcoming.

Kliversala is also known as an oasis for artists

Kliversala has preserved its beauty through centuries and holds a rich history. In the 19th century, Kliversala was a vital transit artery between Riga and Jelgava cities and the biggest shipyard in Latvia. Kliversala is the closest part of Agenskalns next Daugava River. The island was first mentioned in chronicles in 1248. It got its name from the merchant Dietrich Kliver, who in the 17th century rented it from the Riga City Council.

Kliversala is unique and outstanding across Europe. Not many places are located right at the heart of the city, with walking distance from the old city, spectacular views and at the same time green and quiet.

The land plot of Kliversala is almost five hectares and is located within the UNESCO heritage protection area.
